Palmer faced Houston in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Moose put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 4-1 victory. Considering Palmer have won four games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Houston with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jada Santana-Becker, Lila Petitt, Grace Muilenburg, and Isabel Rennie.

Palmer's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three contests. As for Houston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coincidentally, Palmer and Houston will both be playing Kenai Central the next time they take the pitch. The Moose will host the Kardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Hawks will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
