Basketball Recap: Clover Park Takes a Loss

Clover Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Fife Trojans, falling 68-29. While losing is never fun, the Timberwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while the Trojans are ranked 120th).

Fa'aluaina Salanoa was Clover Park's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Andralynne Harless held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. Nyleia Singleton took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with four assists.

Clover Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Fife, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Clover Park and Kingston will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fife will take on Orting in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
