Football Recap: Windthorst's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five + How To Watch

Windthorst had won four straight games and Brock Belcher did his part to make it five on Friday. The Trojans claimed a resounding 52-14 victory over the Haskell Indians thanks in part to Belcher, who rushed for 129 yards and three scores while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 116 yards and three TDs. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last five games he's played.

Windthorst's leading receiver Jaxon Stark was Belcher's top target yet again, picking up 68 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Stark didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made three total tackles.

Windthorst didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Daxton Anderson led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.

When it comes to explaining why Haskell lost, don't look at Haegen Pinkerton. Despite the final result, he rushed for 150 yards and one score while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 75 yards and one TD. The Indians are 4-2 when Pinkerton posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Ethan Camaco also deserves some recognition as he hauled in his first receiving touchdown of the season.

Windthorst's record is now 6-2. As for Haskell, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-4.

Coincidentally, Windthorst and Haskell will both be playing Electra the next time they take the field. The Trojans will host the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Indians will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on November 7.
