Basketball Game Preview: Cuthbertson Cavaliers vs. Sun Valley Spartans

Cuthbertson hasn't had much luck against Sun Valley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cuthbertson Cavaliers just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Sun Valley Spartans at 6:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Cuthbertson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 68-64 to Weddington. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Sun Valley came up short against Porter Ridge on Friday and fell 57-44. While the Spartans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Pirates 18-13 in the first quarter.

Cuthbertson's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-6. As for Sun Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Cuthbertson strolled past Sun Valley when the teams last played on January 7th by a score of 55-36. Will Cuthbertson repeat their success, or does Sun Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
