Basketball Game Preview: Pinconning Spartans vs. Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers

The Pinconning Spartans will head out to challenge the Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pinconning is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Pinconning came up short against Ogemaw Heights and fell 45-36.

Meanwhile, Nouvel Catholic Central suffered their biggest defeat since January 26, 2024 on Friday. They had to suffer through a 60-24 loss at the hands of Hemlock. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-5.

Pinconning's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Nouvel Catholic Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Pinconning was dealt a bruising 50-21 loss at the hands of Nouvel Catholic Central in their previous matchup back in February of 2019. Can Pinconning avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
