Haxtun stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 18-7 margin over the Caliche Buffaloes. Winning may never get old, but Haxtun sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Kaiden Schelling was incredible, scoring five runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4. Keegan Colglazier was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
On Caliche's side, Ayden Ring made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Ring is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Orran Adolf, who went 2-for-4 with a stolen base, a double, and an RBI.
