Basketball Recap: Collins Family Falls Short of Larchmont Charter in the Playoffs

Collins Family and Larchmont Charter squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Collins Family had to settle for second. They took a 77-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Larchmont Charter Timberwolves. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 68-54 to them when the teams met back in December of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Larchmont Charter got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jonathan Callahan-Rives out in front who went 8-for-10 to rack up 21 points. Callahan-Rives is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played. Micah Fleischman was another key player, dropping a triple-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists.

Collins Family's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Larchmont Charter, their record is now 10-5.

Collins Family does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Larchmont Charter, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Horace Mann UCLA Community at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Horace Mann UCLA Community's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.
