Basketball Recap: Kelly Finds Playoff Glory Versus Goode STEM Academy

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Kelly had no problem doing just that on Monday. They skirted past the Goode STEM Academy Knights 42-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since December 5, 2024.

Kelly is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points per game. As for Goode STEM Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-10.

Kelly wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 81-41 loss against Chicago Military Academy on the 5th. As for Goode STEM Academy, they will host Cristo Rey Jesuit at 6:30 p.m. on February 10th.
