Volleyball Recap: East Union Takes a Loss + How To Watch

East Union lost against Sierra back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lancers came up short against the Timberwolves, falling 3-0. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-10.

MACIE HALL-ANDERSON paced East Union's offense, picking up five kills. HALL-ANDERSON were helped by LUCIJA DAYEH and LILYAN FRYE, who contributed six assists each. LILY GROVE controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Amari Currey, who had ten digs and five aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

East Union's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Sierra, their victory ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.

East Union has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Laguna Creek on the 27th. As for Sierra, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Central Catholic on the 30th.
