Volleyball Game Preview: Wellington Eagles vs. Greeley Central Wildcats + How To Watch

The Wellington Eagles will square off against the Greeley Central Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Greeley Central took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Wellington, who comes in off a win.

Northridge came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Wellington, but Riley Dugan wouldn't allow it. The Eagles put the hurt on the Grizzlies with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday for which the team can thank Dugan, who had 19 assists and five digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more assists the last three times she's played.

While Wellington might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Northridge scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Greeley Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Mountain View.

Greeley Central wouldn't go down easily and took Mountain View into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, 19-25, 21-25, 15-9.

Wellington's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Greeley Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.
