High school girls basketball: Lamar Rogers of Tennessee leads active coaching wins list with over 1,300

Entering 49th season, Clarkrange High School head coach has 1,312 victories to his credit.

Lamar Rogers is back for his 49th season as head coach at Clarkrange (Tenn.) and leads the list of the active coaching wins in high school girls basketball.

Rogers has 1,312 career wins and leads a list of 51 active coaches with over 700 career victories. Rogers is 67 wins away from tying Joe Lombard of Canyon (Texas) for No. 2 on the all-time list with 1,379. Leta Andrews of Texas is the all-time leader with 1,416.

A total of nine active coaches have at least 1,000 career wins with Evan Massey of Galesburg (Ill.) needing just eight wins (992) to reach the milestone.
