Stanton waltzed into their contest on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Howells-Dodge Jaguars by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Bridget Marotz paced Stanton's offense, picking up 12 kills. Marotz got some help from Bergan Pohlman and her 22 assists.

Howells-Dodge lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was McKenzie Sindelar, who had eight digs and two assists.

Stanton's victory bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Howells-Dodge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-12 record this season.

Stanton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Clarkson/Leigh on the 18th. As for Howells-Dodge, they will be playing at home against North Bend Central on Tuesday.
