Volleyball Recap: Clarke Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Clarke Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Morgan County Bulldogs. The Gladiators were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in August of 2021.

Morgan County was led to victory by Brayden Burke and Mallory Davidson. Burke had six digs and three aces, while Davidson hit 81.8% for nine kills and seven aces and one assist. Those seven aces gave Davidson a new career-high.

Clarke Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Morgan County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Clarke Central has already played their next matchup (against Hart County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Morgan County, they will challenge Rutland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
