Basketball Recap: Weston Comes Up Short

Weston lost against Immaculate back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Weston Trojans came up short against the Immaculate Mustangs, falling 55-32. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Immaculate found their leader in sophomore Kendra Foy, who posted 30 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Foy has scored at least a third of Immaculate's points. Kristina Asmani was another key player, putting up eight points.

Weston now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Immaculate, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Weston will square off against New Canaan at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Immaculate, they will face off against Newtown at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
