Flag Football Game Preview: El Modena Vanguards vs. El Dorado Golden Hawks + How To Watch

The El Modena Vanguards will head out to face off against the El Dorado Golden Hawks at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (El Modena 13, El Dorado 12.9) so any points scored will be well earned.

El Modena is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Monday. They lost to Corona del Mar at home by a 26-12 margin. While losing is never fun, the Vanguards can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Sea Kings are ranked 108th).

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for El Dorado's offense. They fell 8-0 to Villa Park on Wednesday.

El Dorado's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for El Modena, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10-1.

El Modena skirted past El Dorado 14-12 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vanguards since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
