Basketball Recap: Zimmerman Takes a Loss

Zimmerman lost against Cambridge-Isanti back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Zimmerman Thunder fell 66-53 to the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zimmerman's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Cambridge-Isanti, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-15 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Zimmerman will venture away from home to square off against Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Princeton has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 205 points over their last three games. As for Cambridge-Isanti, they will take on Minneapolis Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
