Volleyball Recap: Heritage Beats Woodlan for Their Second Straight Victory

Heritage won the last time they faced Woodlan, and Chase Buuck did his part to make sure it happened again. The Patriots blew past the Warriors 3-0 on Wednesday thanks in part to Buuck, who had 15 digs and two aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Heritage never let Woodlan on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-15, 25-15.

The win made it two in a row for Heritage and bumps their season record up to 14-3. As for Woodlan, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Looking ahead, Heritage is taking a road trip to take on Fort Wayne Northrop at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bruins will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight. As for Woodlan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against DeKalb at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
