The Webb Spartans will head out on the road to face off against the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Christian Academy of Knoxville took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Webb, who comes in off a win.
Last Monday, Webb was able to grind out a solid win over Eagleton College & Career Academy, taking the game 13-8. 13 seems to be a good number for Webb as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Malea Breeden was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits. Breeden was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
