Soccer Recap: Poudre Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Poudre was not quite Windsor's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Wizards. Poudre were not able to make up for their loss to Windsor from their previous meeting back in March of 2019.

This is the second loss in a row for Poudre and nudges their season record down to 6-5-1. As for Windsor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Poudre wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 9-0 win against Greeley West on the 24th. As for Windsor, they will head out to challenge Loveland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Windsor will be up against Loveland's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.75 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
