Baseball Recap: Redlands Adventist Academy Starts Season with Loss at Home

Redlands Adventist Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 14-0 to the Cornerstone Christian Crusaders on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 21-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2021.

Redlands Adventist Academy got a good showing from Ryan Powers, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

The win made it two in a row for Cornerstone Christian and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redlands Adventist Academy will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Lucerne Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cornerstone Christian, they will head out to challenge Nuview Bridge at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
