Basketball Recap: Wallenberg Takes a Loss

Wallenberg lost against Lincoln back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wallenberg Bulldogs were outmatched by the Lincoln Mustangs and fell 74-40. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-18.

Wallenberg has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Lincoln, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-8.

Wallenberg will host Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Galileo at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Galileo likes a good challenge.
