            Shiloh's game  on Friday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They enjoyed a cozy  39-20 win over the Lakeside Vikings. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Generals' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Vikings are ranked 320th).

Shiloh got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  John Wilson out in front who threw for 268 yards and four  TDs, and also rushed for 102 yards on only 11 carries. The Generals are 4-1 when  Wilson posts 80 or  more  rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise.  Ryan Webster was another key rusher, rushing for 140 yards and a pair of  scores while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Shiloh was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 251  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 151  rushing yards in seven consecutive  games.
 When it comes to explaining why Lakeside lost, don't look at  Ayden Grubel. Despite the final result, he threw for 234 yards and three  touchdowns.
Shiloh now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lakeside, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming  contests. Shiloh will square off against Dunwoody at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Lakeside, they will face off against Woodward Academy at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The War Eagles will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
