Basketball Recap: St. Luke's Episcopal Takes a Loss

St. Luke's Episcopal was the 52-30 winner over Washington County when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats took a 50-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Washington County Bulldogs on Monday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why St. Luke's Episcopal lost, don't look at Logan Stephenson. Despite the final result, she went 9 of 15 en route to 26 points and five boards. Stephenson has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Armani Coleman was another key player, putting up eight points.

St. Luke's Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Washington County, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-6.

St. Luke's Episcopal will face off against Robertsdale at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Washington County has already played their next matchup, a 59-40 victory against Blacksher on the 14th.
