Baseball Game Preview: Lutheran Cougars vs. St. Mary's Dragons

The Lutheran Cougars will face off against the St. Mary's Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lutheran fell victim to Liberty and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 6-0. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's was not able to break out of their rough patch last Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 20-2 to Lutheran. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Dragons couldn't push the score so high this time.

St. Mary's saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Rohlfing, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for St. Mary's, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
