Basketball Game Preview: Southeastern Panthers vs. Westfall Mustangs

The Southeastern Panthers will take on the Westfall Mustangs at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Friday, Southeastern came up short against Adena and fell 46-33. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Westfall was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 48-42 to Piketon. The Mustangs have struggled against the Redstreaks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Southeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Westfall, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Southeastern was able to grind out a solid victory over Westfall in their previous matchup back in December of 2025, winning 60-47. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
