Walker posted their biggest win since January 10th on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Prairieville Hurricanes as the Walker Wildcats made off with a 59-39 victory. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 249th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Walker and bumps their season record up to 14-17. As for Prairieville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walker will square off against St. Amant at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Walker is facing St. Amant at the right time seeing as St. Amant is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Prairieville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Ascension on Friday. One thing working in East Ascension's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
