Soccer Recap: Douglas/Rapid City Christian Comes Up Short

Douglas/Rapid City Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Hot Springs Bison. Douglas/Rapid City Christian were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hot Springs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Douglas/Rapid City Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Hot Springs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.

Coming up, Douglas/Rapid City Christian will face off against Stevens at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stevens will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last. As for Hot Springs, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Belle Fourche at 5:00 p.m.
