Baseball Recap: West Fork Comes Up Short

West Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lumberton Raiders, falling 14-1.

West Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Lumberton, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 21-7-1.

West Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lumberton, they will be playing at home against Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Raiders 3.1, the Panthers 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
