Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tampa Prep). They came out on top against the Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate Phoenix by a score of 38-27 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Terrapins as it spelled an end to their 13-game losing streak.

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate's loss came despite strong showings from Emerie Bohannon-Chenault and Jasani Andrews. Bohannon-Chenault posted 13 points and four steals, while Andrews earned nine points along with five boards and four steals. Those 13 points gave Bohannon-Chenault a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaniya Gonzalez, who scored a point in addition to nine rebounds and three steals.

Tampa Prep's victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-15. As for Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Tampa Prep has already played their next match (against Shorecrest Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate will take on Cambridge Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cambridge Christian has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.
