Football Game Preview: Connellsville Falcons vs. DuBois Beavers + How To Watch

The Connellsville Falcons will face off against the DuBois Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Connellsville is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

On Friday, Connellsville ended up a good deal behind Butler and lost 44-27. The Falcons were down 44-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the defeat, Connellsville got top-tier performance from Caden Matthews, who rushed for 64 yards and one TD on only eight carries, and also threw for 166 yards and one touchdown. Matthews got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 55 yards. Another player making a difference was Jayden Mickens, who rushed for 100 yards and one score on only 11 carries.

Meanwhile, DuBois didn't have quite enough to beat Punxsutawney on Friday and fell 17-14. The matchup marked the Beavers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Connellsville will have to contain Trey Wingard as he made an impact in DuBois' last game. He threw for 184 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 64 yards on only five carries.

DuBois' loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Connellsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
