Football Game Preview: Lake Nona Lions vs. Harmony Longhorns + How To Watch

After each having a week off, the Lake Nona Lions and the Harmony Longhorns will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Friday, Lake Nona came up short against St. Cloud and fell 25-17. While the Lions had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Bulldogs 7-0.

Even if they lost, Lake Nona's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In that department, Deanthony Lafayette was the leader with two. Another thorn in St. Cloud's side was Cristian Cuffy, who made ten total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, Harmony also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Tohopekaliga by a score of 28-16. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harmony's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lake Nona, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Lake Nona against Harmony when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 27-0 victory. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Longhorns have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
