Baseball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Lexington lost against New Philadelphia on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Minutemen fell 6-3 to the Quakers. The Minutemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for New Philadelphia, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lexington will host Hillsdale at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for New Philadelphia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Louisville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Quakers 3.2, the Leopards 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
