Baseball Recap: Glasgow Takes a Loss

Glasgow fell victim to Warren East and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The defeat continues a trend for the Scotties in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost five in a row.

Glasgow saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Garett Shields, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Glasgow's loss dropped their record down to 8-16-1. As for Warren East, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-13.

Looking ahead, Glasgow will venture away from home to take on Monroe County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warren East, they will square off against Franklin-Simpson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
