The Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests are taking a road trip to square off against the Berman Hebrew Academy Cougars at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Sandy Spring Friends is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season.

Two weeks ago, Sandy Spring Friends made easy work of McLean and carried off an 8-1 win. The Wildebeests haven't had any issues with McLean recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Noah Gross was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jacob Edelman, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Berman Hebrew Academy had to start their season on the road on Sunday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Beth Tfiloh.

Sandy Spring Friends' win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Berman Hebrew Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
