Volleyball Recap: West Platte Extends Winning Streak to Three

West Platte waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Barstow Knights.

West Platte found their leader in freshman Nora Meyerkorth, who had 30 digs and two aces. Those 30 digs set a new season-high mark for Meyerkorth.

West Platte was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are 14-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

West Platte's victory bumped their record up to 20-15-2. As for Barstow, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9-1 record this season.

As of now, neither West Platte nor Barstow have any future games scheduled.
