Holcomb entered their tilt with Minneapolis on Saturday with 16 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 17. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0.

While Holcomb won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Bella Galliart and Malia Ruda, who picked up eight kills apiece. Galliart really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 16.

Holcomb's win bumped their record up to 36-4. As for Minneapolis, their loss dropped their record down to 20-17.

Holcomb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Ellsworth on the 25th. Minneapolis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
