Basketball Recap: Loranger Comes Up Short

Loranger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lakeshore. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while Lakeshore are ranked 60th).

Loranger's defeat dropped their record down to 9-21. As for Lakeshore, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-7.

Loranger will head out on the road to face off against French Settlement at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeshore, they will challenge Mandeville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
