Lutheran extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Kate Wilson. The Lions put the hurt on the Air Academy Kadets with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday thanks in part to Wilson, who had ten digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 15 games she's played.

While Lutheran won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 25-22.

When it comes to explaining why Air Academy lost, don't look at Shelbe Lyons. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and one assist.

Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Air Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lutheran will challenge rival Palmer Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Air Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Discovery Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
