Basketball Recap: Honey Grove Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If Honey Grove was riding high fresh off their 61-26 takedown of Tom Bean last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Honey Grove Warriors fell just short of the Bland Tigers by a score of 51-48 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 492nd, while the Tigers are ranked 168th).

Honey Grove's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-12. As for Bland, their win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-1.
