Soccer Game Preview: Manning vs. Calhoun County

The Manning Monarchs are taking a road trip to square off against the Calhoun County Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Manning is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Manning came up short against West Ashley on Tuesday, falling 14-1.

Manning's goal came courtesy of Edward Morales, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Calhoun County fell victim to Timberland and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Wolves. The defeat continues a trend for Calhoun County in their meetings with Timberland: they've now lost five in a row.

Calhoun County's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Manning, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Everything went Manning's way against Calhoun County in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Manning made off with an 8-1 win. In that match, Manning amassed a halftime lead of 5-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
