With a playoff win on the line, Cape Fear Academy rose to the challenge on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Fayetteville Christian Warriors with a sharp 4-1 victory. Considering Cape Fear Academy have won 11 matchups by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Cape Fear Academy pushed their record up to 14-5-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those nine contests. As for Fayetteville Christian, with the defeat, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 20-3.

Looking ahead, Cape Fear Academy will host Coastal Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fayetteville Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
