Baseball Recap: Byram Hills Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

While Byram Hills's victory against Edgemont wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Panthers 9-7. Nine seems to be a good number for the Bobcats as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Byram Hills' win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Edgemont, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Byram Hills will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Rye Neck at 4:30 p.m. on May 9. As for Edgemont, they are taking a road trip to challenge Port Chester at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Panthers are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
