Football Recap: Mccomb Skates Past Toledo Christian with Ease

McComb's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Toledo Christian Eagles 41-7. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Panthers just coasted through the last quarter.

The win got McComb back to even at 1-1. As for Toledo Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McComb will venture away from home to challenge Liberty-Benton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Panthers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Toledo Christian, they will take on Lakota at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
