Basketball Game Preview: Bishop Watterson Eagles vs. Lancaster Golden Gales

Having just played yesterday, the Bishop Watterson Eagles will get right back to it and host the Lancaster Golden Gales at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lancaster took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bishop Watterson, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Bishop Watterson didn't have too much trouble with Eastmoor Academy as they won 72-53. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Warriors are ranked 411th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lancaster was beaten by Reynoldsburg 67-38 on Friday.

Lancaster has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Bishop Watterson, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.

Bishop Watterson took their victory against Lancaster when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 66-45. Does Bishop Watterson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lancaster turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
