Soccer Recap: McDowell Comes Up Short + How To Watch

McDowell and Cox Mill squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but McDowell had to settle for second. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, McDowell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 294th, while Cox Mill are ranked 94th).

McDowell's loss dropped their record down to 8-8-3. As for Cox Mill, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8-4.

McDowell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cox Mill, they have already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against West Cabarrus on the 6th.
