Woodrow Wilson fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Warren on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Warren Bears by a score of 15-14. One positive for the Bruins, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Tallulah Watts was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Charlotte White was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances.

Woodrow Wilson's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Warren, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Woodrow Wilson will face off against Cabrillo at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warren, they will square off against Elsinore at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
