Basketball Recap: Highland Park Takes a Loss

Highland Park lost a heartbreaker to St. Paul Central when they met back in January, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Highland Park Scots took a 76-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Paul Central Minutemen. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (62), the Scots still had to take the loss.

Highland Park's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for St. Paul Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Coming up, Highland Park will face off against Washington Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Paul Central, they will take on Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Johnson comes in on three and St. Paul Central on nine.
