St. James came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against Conway, but Elizabeth Mau wouldn't allow it. The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Sharks on Tuesday with plenty of help from Mau, who had 20 digs and two assists. She has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last six times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-23, 21-25, 25-15, 25-8.

Conway's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-4. As for St. James, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Conway will head out to challenge Socastee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. James, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Waccamaw at 7:00 p.m. The Warriors will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Sharks surely won't give up without a fight.
