Central Cambria hasn't had much luck against Bedford recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Red Devils will venture away from home to take on the Bisons at 4:30 p.m.

Central Cambria easily dispatched Westmont Hilltop on Wednesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Red Devils fell just short of Philipsburg-Osceola by a score of 6-4 on Thursday.

Owen Harringer was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Bedford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bellwood-Antis only posted a batting average of .286.

Bedford's record is now 11-7. As for Central Cambria, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Central Cambria has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bedford struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
