It was a Battle of the Birds when Wheaton North challenged Sandburg on Saturday. The Falcons fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Their offense was headlined by Joe Claud and Aidan Syswerda, who picked up six kills apiece. They were helped by Owen Hubner and Trey Hubner, who contributed nine assists each.

Among those leading the charge was Ethan Cleofe, who had seven digs and two aces.

Wheaton North's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Sandburg, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.
